Lots of hearts and views...but minimal sales...

My shop has been up and running for almost a year and I've decided to take the next step and really try to bump up my sales. My items are getting a fair amount of views, and I get a couple people per day adding my shop or specific items to their favorites, but it's not translating into very many sales (I think I've had 2 in the last week). I read in one of the threads that the amount of sales is directly related to the number of items for sale, so I've been trying to list new items every day. Do I just need more items for sale in my shop? Or can you see any other red flags as to why my sales are not higher? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Lots of hearts and views...but minimal sales...

I checked out your shop and I think your idea about the spoons is great. The picture I clicked on was a spoon photographed against what looks like a dark wooden table. I would have more action shots. Go back and see what has sold. What does the photograph look like?
Have you thought of offering "sets" of spoons? I plant tomatoes AND peppers AND broccoli. I would like to see that I could get a set of 3 of those spoons. Or a make-your-own set.
You get 5 pictures for each item, I would show different spoons together in a grouping in at least one of those pictures, so you can cross-sell. Your artwork is really nice. Make sure you are showing more designs at each listing, so people can see different items.
This is all coming from someone who is brand new to etsy and has never had a sale of my own so who knows if I know anything.
Good luck!
Mindy
