Advice with Photoshop

Hi

My photos aren't very consistent...I take all my pictures in natural light but have to use photoshop (7 & elements 11) to adjust my background. Its an old cutting board for material so it's a bit faded, I'm mainly using the paint bucket (black and white) to make it look sharper. Any advice would be amazing.

Ok! I think you will find this useful. Its very simple and takes literally SECONDS to do it, once you know how to.

I hope you meant how to make the white nicer, was it?
