thoughts about pictures to submit

I was wondering why my shop was not accepted, and I think I have a good idea.
When looking at my own pictures that I submitted, i realized that nobody knows what the hell I sell just from a picture of the front of the item.
so, do I add some words to my photos? or try to get pictures that show both sides?

maybe your shop has the same issue???

LOL - yeah, I had the same problem:-) Consider putting some text in the picture to explain if at all possible...a title, etc. or show how it is used. I had EXACTLY the same issue:-) Trust me I understand:-)

Just took a look, lovely items. Yes, I think it was because people might not understand, maybe show fronts and backs or the items in use.

I think you might be right, just looking at the pic you can't really tell what it is, to me they all look like buttons -- so why not submit pics like this that show both sides:

And maybe put text across the top too, because honestly even looking at the back of the bottle openers I might not realize what it is :)

I think it is also important to use your best pics in your submission, so ones that are bright/crisp like this:

thanks. I really didn't put a lot of thought into my first submission. I don't have a lot of the pictures saved on my computer because my last computer caught fire and died. so I need to go in and copy all the good stuff off of my site.
also, I took this pic the other day, thinking about this problem:
