You can buy a VIP only as a gift?

My feature is today and I am doing a VIP Exclusive deal. I noticed that someone bought a voucher as a gift who is not a VIP. Of course this does not bother me but I just found it interesting!

How are you able to see who bought the gift? On my vouchers sold page, I can only see that a gift was purchased, not who actually purchased the voucher. Or do gift vouchers show up as "N" for VIPs maybe? I can't tell on mine because my deal was in the olden days before VIPs :)

It now says:
Buyer - Voucher # - Date - VIP - Used

In the spot for Buyer it just says Gift and under VIP it says "no". Used is a box where you can check off if the voucher has been used yet or not. (not sure if that is different from before)

So maybe if a VIP purchases a gift voucher, because Heartsy doesn't know who the giftee is, the VIP is checked as no? That would make sense to me.

I'm curious to know that for sellers who do the extra credit to VIPs, whether that extra credit also goes to gift vouchers purchased by VIPs. Maybe someone else will know the answer to that one.

When I purchased my VIP membership it very clearly stated that gifts I purchased would NOT be given the VIP perk!!

as a vip any gift vouchers don't get vip perks, as someone else said.

i don't buy gift vouchers but it makes that clear.

Yes, I have had 3 gifts purchased today VIP day - so a VIP has to buy it (the gift) since the deal isn't open until tomorrow? Yes, I can see that the gift is only worth the lower amount not the VIP extra $10 in my case.

I think I lost out on the VIP $10 vs. paying Heartsy a couple extra bucks. Already sold 30 VIP's!

how does the gift work? i see in my sold vouchers that gift vouchers are not included in my sold voucher count and they are not counted towards my "deal payments."

The way it was for me:
On the first day I sold 6 vouchers and the stats said:
VIP vouchers - 6
Gift vouchers - 1 (Total 7 which was really 6 which meant that the gift voucher was bought by VIP) and opposite the gift voucher it said NO (referring to VIP, meaning that the gift recepient doesn't have to be a VIP). So my take on it - you have to be a VIP to buy a gift on a VIP only deal.
