Rules against inflating prices before / during feature?

Is there any set rules on this?
I notice a shop that's being featured that raised prices by at least $5 each item just 5 hours ago. :/ How sad people have to do that!!

Ugh. If people can't afford to do heartsy with their current pricing and business model, then heartsy is not the right venue for them.

Re: Rules against inflating prices before / during feature?

i have a question about this. I haven't been featured yet but I have been going back and forth on my prices - mostly my jewelry. I can't seem to make up my mind.

And I'm about to be featured shortly and did just adjust my prices - but it wasn't for heartsy, it was after getting a price critique -so it's a coincidence.

But right after I adjusted my jewelry, I immediately thought this might be seen as pricing before heartsy.

Did I just do a bad? I get such little views right now, I didn't really think anyone would notice anyway.

You could mentioned in your store that you had a review of your store and some things like prices had to be change to be inline with other stores.

Gee you smell good, I've noticed that too! I even went as far as to check CraftCult for when some sellers have been featured on FP to compare their THEN vs NOW pricing.

Even if I want something really badly but the prices seem inflated to me, I wont buy it - not even at 60% off their inflated prices.

The only way you can check CraftCult for pricing is if that seller was featured on the FP.

Go to CraftCult.com, click on THE VAULT. Then click on "Search for Member" and make sure the box is set to "Lists featuring items by" and type in the seller's store name in the empty box and hit ENTER.

If that seller has ever been featured on FP, then it will tell you the date that treasury was on FP...you can click on "View this List" and you can compare prices for the treasured item they had listed at that point in time.

Obviously, this will only work if the seller was ever featured on FP.

Oh, that is interesting to know. But it is kind of a hidden way to do it :) Great catch!
