Has anyone heard of, applied to, or used Kewtsy.com as a seller or buyer? It is similar to Heartsy.me and launched yesterday, September 7th.

I don't know much about them. They actually sent me an email about their site about a month or so inviting me to submit my shop. I'm done doing deals for the year, so I honestly didn't look into it at all. But I'll post the info that they sent me.

Here it is:

I stumbled upon your shop while browsing on Etsy. I thought you might be interested in learning about a new opportunity to promote your shop and generate new sales. Just applied..who pays the fee? I suspect the seller....would like some clarity on that for sure from them. They have 4,700 likes on FB...not bad.

They emailed me too the other day. im going for it. my heartsy feature was a great success so i figured why not? im having 2 features (lined clips on 22nd and then the headbands for another feature). Good Luck Hartleysoap! im anxious to see how you do on kewtsy!

i'd never heard of kewtsy until i was reading a private message board the other day. there were literally almost a hundred sellers and buyers who think the name is ridiculous and refuse to shop/sell there because of it. i gotta admit, the name is a huge turn off, but i'll reserve judgement until i see how it looks and works.

waterwaif, I too have heard a number of complaints about the name, but I don't think a business should be judged solely on the name, as well.

waterwaif- that's funny. I started to put that in my post above but took it out. The name bothers me in a big way which is probably why I didn't even bother to look at the site. One of my biggest pet peeves is the non-sensical replacement of a hard C with a K- combine that with the stomach turning spelling and it is hard to get past.

I really don't think the name is any worse the Heartsy -and shipping is not included in the voucher!!!!! that in itself is a big plus!

It's the spelling that gets me....And even though they emailed me all the details, I didn't really pay attention. The shipping thing definitely I did not know and boy, that will definitely make a difference for me! I can definitely get over the spelling if that's the case! :)

I didn't know about that shipping isn't in the voucher either. I don't care if they call it Poopsy, if it's profitable thumbs up for me! LOL - just kidding (sort of). Is the name really worse than "heartsy.me" really? I think not.

You guys are funny!!! LOL ~ I've contacted them today and got an acknowledgement email within a few hours, so that's a good sign, I think. They've launced already, and it'll be nice to know how well it's been working for the featured vendors, hoping to read about that soon :)

I got contacted, and I didn't have the time right away, so I had my mom apply. She has a deal set for September 30. I really appreciate their communication. It's fast, and really nice. Some of these sites have terrible communication.

If it works out ok for her, I'll try it.

BTW, she's doing the certain item for a discount price rather than the voucher.

The name isn't great, but etsy, heartsy, groopdealz - none of these are great, in my opinion.

My feature ends in 46 minutes. I have no idea how many vouchers have been sold yet until the deal ends. I will gladly share my experience. The communication with Linda has been wonderful and proffessional. They do have close to 5k followers on facebook.

I received an email from them asking if I might be interested in doing a deal with them. I already did a Heartsy deal this year and if it has good feedback I might consider another venue for the deals next spring. I'll keep an eye on it! If you do participate I would love to hear how it goes!
