90% of my vouchers went to VIPS and the other 10% sold out in about 2 hours of the feature.

yikes! that's a lot of VIPs... when I did my sale back in July i had 60% vips.
did many of them go over the voucher price at least? i hope they did, for your sake!

Yes, they did. I was fortunate in that sense.

This worries me for my upcoming feature. It seems like VIPs buy up most of the vouchers, but doing it VIP-only doesn't generate enough interest for VIP buyers.

I think it depends on what your sales goal is. My last deal was VIP only and I sold out- I had people tell me they became VIPs just because of my deal. It was 75 vouchers which is pretty much the most I can handle. I will only do VIP only because no way can I give the extra credit, plus now that they charge the transaction fee, there is definitely no way to offer extra credit on top. Plus, it's not like you don't get the exposure. It's still up on the site and in the daily email.

60, I started with something I knew I could handle. I need to look into this "VIP only" deal in case I ever do this again.

rose, there is a section on heartsy where it shows you your sold vouchers and provides the numbers.

VIP only may be the way to go in the future. The exposure, sales, hearts, views, etc. is unreal. I definitely don't regret this and once I build up my inventory again will see about doing it more in the future.

I sold around 50 vouchers when I did my VIP only but I loved it because I didn't have to offer that extra $10 AND almost everyone went over, some upwards of $30-$40 over (and my stuff is not super expensive). I'm doing a regular deal this time and I'm interested to see how the numbers compare. So far today I sold 20 vouchers to VIPS (since they get to access the sale a day early) and I go live to everyone tomorrow. We'll see how it goes... :)

OK, I think I'm convinced to do VIP only. Just got an acceptance today so I have to negotiate my deal.
