I Am So Upset Right Now!

I just got an email from John telling me that someone emailed him and told him that I raised my shipping prices once the deal started! I can't believe someone would do that! I have the proof that it's not true in my invoices, but seriously, why would someone lie like that??

I'm so upset right now, I'm shaking.

I don't understand why someone would do that?

Thanks guys. :) John had no problem believing me, I didn't even have to send the proof. It's just upsetting, you know? I'm offering a spectacular deal (yes, I'm very modest. LOL!) and yet someone actually accused me of trying to inflate my pricing. Sigh..

I know this is an old post, but I actually know someone who really did this just yesterday!!
Her 4oz item went from $7 up to $12! Before I bought the deal (voucher) I went to her shop to just to confirm I would like enough items to buy, and her item was only $7..and about 10 mins later I bought the deal, and her item was raised up to $12! I could get the same item in 8oz for that same price, and from a more popular store with better/more feedback. Kwim?
So disappointing. It was too late, so I ended up having to get items, but if I haven't paid for the voucher already I would have said "I'll pass!"

Ok, since my vent is over I'm sorry someone did that to you, and thank goodness for your past invoices!

Oh and we're your items lower in price when you first started on etsy in general? even before Heartsy? that could be what confused the person who said it to John? People are allowed to up their prices aren't they? just not during a feature or something.

Rune, the problem being is that if you buy a voucher, shipping is usually included in that. So, you'll be geting less for your money if shipping prices are increased.

$5 says it was a competitor, or someone who sold something similar who wanted a deal and were pissed that you got one.

I agree, competitor or jealous...one of the two. Loser. What else can you say? LOOOSERRR! It's a terrible thing to do. You wouldn't believe some of the stunts I've had done to me....honestly, they'd blow your mind. All were done by competitive shops who apparently don't believe in competition.
