Advertising?

OK - so I put this up here and want to get your feedback quickly in case this was not a good idea.... See my photo thumbnail? I changed it to advertise my heartsy feature date. Is this a good idea or not? If it is a bad idea, I will change it back... but I just thought of it and thought - everyone who has favorited my shop over the last year will see this... maybe a nice way to advertise my feature?

I would remove it right after my feature. If it seems to be a good idea and anyone wants me to make one for them, let me know :) Thoughts?

i think it's a good idea. Although, with all the anit-Heartsy folks that are on the main forums, you may attract some unwanted attention.

I guess I'm out of that loop. I'm not on any other forums, so if only people here see it and maybe people who come to my shop or favorite an item... then maybe it would be ok?

I've noticed that some who have "favorited" some of my items in the past are totally anti-Heartsy.

In the spirit of youthful rebellion, i say EFF the anti-heartsy folks. I don't think it will hurt you in terms of sale or anything. At worst there will be some crap talkers on the other forums. But I think it's a great way to let any regular customers know! I know there are shops that i've bought from that i check often, to see if there are any new goodies.

I think it's bad, but only because nobody is going to purchase from you between now and then knowing they can buy at a discount in a week... Other than that it's fine I guess... Might have more people buy in a week than you would otherwise!!

Love your shop by the way... I checked it out the other day!!

Good points. :) Thanks - maybe I'll just put it up on the day before the sale. I know when I favorite peoples shops/items, if there was a way to know they were having a sale, I'd like to know! I've never been on other forums so I'm not too worried about making 'too' many people mad! lol :) haha

It was just one of those things that came to mind and I thought "hey, that's a good idea"
