Team Goals!!!

Good Morning Team (it's morning in California),

It's time to make some goals! Team goals for this week are:

1) Grow to 100 Members
2) Get everyone who participates in this thread at least 1 sale

Post your goals here, and let's help each other meet them!

Goals should be measurable, and have a deadline which is 12/13/13!

I'm a little nervous about my goal now...

I took out the rest of my stickers yesterday and photographed them, and there's only 9 new packages. That means I actually have to get my embroidery on and make some cards! Good thing I already designed them!

On to 50 listings!

This seems silly, but my goal is to have one sale by the end of the year. I have only had one since opening in August, so I'm really pushing hard to make this goal a reality.

Lori, I don't think that is silly, at all. There's one before there's two and two before there's three, and we all know that like attracts like :)

I posted new items today! I'm up to 36 and need 14 more to meet my goal.

I've also invited some interesting Etsians to join our team, but we're still quite a bit off from getting to 100.

I haven't set any goals for the rest of this year. Since I'm just getting started (less than 6 months with an active store) I was just feeling it out to see what would happen. I'd love to get more sales, but I know that is not in my control. Making more product to list, blogging and marketing are in my control.

My goal for 2014 is to increase my sales by 50%. The way I'm trying to accomplish that is to post 50 listings by March 1st, and increase my blog posts to once a week.

My goal is (realistically) to have 5 sales by the end of the year. I would LOVE to have 10, or more, actually but since I haven't had ANY sales from a 'stranger' since August, it feels pretty 'iffy'.

My basic goal is to find 'my customer'. I know that person is 'out there' because I do sell to people outside of Etsy.

My customer is someone who thinks to bring a Hostess Gift when attending a dinner party or who is travelling and wants to take along 'a little something' for the person with whom they will be visiting.

My customer also is someone who still enjoys sending handwritten notes and cards to their friends, family and business associates.

Another goal I have is to start blogging once a month. I have a blog started (thanks to Google) but have been a bit overwhelmed. My goal is to begin blogging in earnest January 1, 2014 - THERE I said it!

I'm curious: Does anyone here belong to other teams? I get quite a lot of views at times - so far...NO sales though.

The views seems to come from my Teams (when I look at my 'stats', I am able to see from where the views come).

I am on 29 teams! Some of them are "prototypes' and some of them are structured quite differently than this one.

There is a way to 'find' teams that speak to your particular artistry - just start typing something that interests you in the 'search' area. If you want more views, being on more teams is one of the ways to get them.

I feel my goal is within reach : ) My goal is for 40 sales to cap off 2013 and I am currently at 33!

Any ideas on how we can help our fellow team mates achieve their goals?

I worked on product today, and should be listing new stuff tomorrow. Won't be quite at 50 yet, but it's still not Friday ;)

Well, I didn't get to 50 listings, and our team didn't grow to 100 members.

Oh, well. I did grow to 43 listings, and we more than doubled the size of our team, so I'm not too disappointed.

My big accomplishment for the week was re tagging most of my listings. And getting to 200 views!

Next week, I will set more plausible goals, or, work smarter perhaps (it doesn't matter how much I promote, if I don't create :)
