Anyone else planning to sell or visit for LeakyCon in Portland? The show is June 27th-30th here in Portland, OR.
My husband and I run 3 different Etsy shops and together we have a ton of Harry Potter items. We are very excited to exhibit and hope we see some fellow Etsians there!!
Love your shops, I am a big STNG fan too so I have new things for my wishlist! I am thinking about vending at Leakycon in 2014 (I need time to build my inventory)
It sounds so exciting! I looked into vending, but since the smallest booth costs $800, it's well out of my range, but I hope I can attend. I think it will be a wonderful weekend of fun!
I am planning to attend as a vendor for the first time. Have you been before? I have been searching the internet for feedback from other leakycon's but have not found anything. Just would like to know what to expect.
This will be our first LeakyCon as well. We've done other large conventions, but we've never done this one. I'm also unsure of what to expect. I feel that it could be quite huge since there is only 1 in the US per year and 1 in the UK. I believe LeakyCon hasn't been around that long so they don't have a huge history to help us much.
Fingers crossed it goes well for all! At the very least it should be a good time to be involved and see what others bring along. It's a huge fee to vendor so hopefully it'll be worthwhile. If not it'll be a very expensive learning experience. :)
I'm going to bite the bullet and go for it. It will never be this close to where I live again, and so this may be my only chance to attend. Even if I don't end up selling much, I think it will still be a wonderful experience. I hope to see some of you there!
I heard back and paid online, but I did send some questions over a week ago and haven't heard back on that yet--I hope Edward is just busy and not sick or something!
I made two payments, so maybe they were waiting for second half. Still never heard anything from anyone, but first check was cashed. Wait...Edward did say 2 weeks ago that my application was recieved. Just expected invoice too. Really excited.
