could I hear your thought Pretty please?

Hello,
Thanks for taking time to read this!

I'm new here and trying to get my shop up and running. I'm selling a range of things. And as I felt it was rather messy to have it all jumbled up -a long list meant that there were things at the bottom that people might not see. So I've rearranged my shop lay out -to a grid so it looks more like a treasury and I'd like your opinion.

First question:
-does my shop show as a grid when you click on it?
- I've attempted a diagonal color graduation to make a cohesive look -does that work or does it look all over the place?

Secondly I've been working on my descriptions.
- what do you think -is there any information about my things that you feel is missing? What more would you want to know about the items?

Now I'm just waiting for some decent light to re-take some of the photos!

Thanks again for your time!
Here are some flowers for your effort!

In anticipation of your valued response,
Linda

ps. I'm of course happy to take a look at your shop too!

Your shop is amazing. It doesn't look like a new shop at all. Your items are also amazing. I will be checking back for gifts often.

Your descriptions are great. They are the perfect balance between cute story and information. Photos are great. I love when all the photos in a persons shop share the same background. Your items are white back ground or that nice wood texture.

A great job, I wish you could do my shop for me. It is a mess at the moment. I need to be better at this part of Etsy selling.

Re: could I hear your thought Pretty please?

The photos are gorgeous and I'm envious of your great close ups and knowledge of using the camera. The shop itself is organized and very design friendly. The hard part is putting good strong keywords in the title and tags. I am going to focus on http://www.etsy.com/listing/64129980/up-cycled-handmade-mr-brown-bear-in-wool Up-cycled is a good focus but as for a title what if people search for upcycled and not up HYPEN cycled? If I was looking for a toy stuffy bear for my child what would I type in? Here are your existing tags for the item: toys bear teddy wool brown baby toddler one of a kind mundane beauteous children animal england teamworldwide

Out of these Tags, I do not think people will shop for mundane, or beauteous,

Sometimes they type in OOAK instead of one of a kind.

You may need to rethink keywords to better target your customer base. Colors are huge, as sometimes is material, and why not use the HMET tag also ?

It is tricky at first because there is a lot of cross-thinking and researching. You have to think like a customer and determine how they may refer to your item. However, once you get your tags down for your handmade animals you can just copy and relist your items making only small changes like "bear" to "dog."

You can learn more about finding your niche and how to check on good keywords on Tim's site and articles such as this two part series http://www.handmadeology.com/how-to-properly-place-keywords-in-your-etsy-shop-to-dominate-small-nich...

Good luck, I favorited him :) .

Your shop look very nice! The pics are great already but a few could be brighter, I think. I love your bluebird necklaces! As far as descriptions, I would just double check spelling and grammar and don't use Captialization when It doesn't Make sense To use It.

Good luck!! : )

I have always loved jewelry and I love the relationship that women have with their jewelry. It makes us feel beautiful, feminine, and powerful. It affects us in many ways, and even if a piece does not cost thousands of dollars, it is still precious to us.
