Need help

I need some advice on how to get steady views to my shop. I have accounts on everything like Pinterest, facebook, linkedin, and so forth but like today I only have 3 views on my shop. I have only had 1 sale so far. I also have a blogsite that I have linked to my shop also. I have tried changing prices, pics and shipping prices also. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Re: Need help

Sounds like you are doing all the right things. I just checked out your shop and profile page. I see you have been doing treasuries too which often brings in views and you have favourite shops and favourite items which also helps. Plus you are interacting with teams. You have certainly ticked all the right boxes.
Keep in mind that although there are many success stories on etsy there are also those of us who just persistantly improve and work on our products our photos our descriptions etc. For some of us it is a lot slower getting noticed. Check out articles on SEO or search engine optimisation, if you haven't already because once your titles descriptions and tags all have there keywords in the right place this can also help with increasing views.
Plus it is pretty quiet at the moment post Christmas and all that.
Best wishes to you, I hope things pick up for you and everyone else soon. Keep listing in the meantime, the more items you have the more searches you will turn up in.

Your prices seem really low, especially on those bookmarks, remember your time is worth something too.

Re: Need help

I am a knitter, so we re in the same genre i guess. First, i didnt have my first sale for quite a few monthes. Ive been working hard on my shop since thanksgiving and ive had 4 sales since then. What i did to change things , besides teams circles trwasuries and all that is SEO. You are not doing that. Key words are important. If i am looking for a pacifier clip, that is what i will type in, not childrens or leash. I had 9 views from google last week, so im feeling like i understand the keywords thing. I have an article about it. One thing is to repeat repeat repeat. As in title your pacifier clip like this : Baby pacifier clip, binkie leash, fall colors. The color doesnt help because that is what ppl look for After theyre in the catagory they want. So, when 20 crocheted clips show up, they ll look at the titles and pictures for the colors they want. Then in your description : this crocheted pacifier clip is handmade in fall colors to leash that little binkie. No more cooties from gleefully tossing the nuk overboard! In that i just used 3 words for a pacifier in the beginning of your description. Tags: binkie clip, pacifier, binkie, Nuk, fall colors, crochet, baby accessories, orange, white, new mom, handmade, Those are all i can think of off the top of my head. The baby catagory is just Stuffed with things, so is crochet and knitting. So try to place your items in other good catergories. Like instead of crochet then hats try hats first them childrens then whatever. Check your shop stats often to see What words people are using to find you, and change your stuff to reflect that. Also. According to etsys article on searches the optimal number of items to have is 100, thats when you get to the top of their searches. My views have steady risen as ive added more item. One more thing, use a model if you can. I know its hard, i have 4 little ones who cant sit still. But it will help your picture get noticed. I mean who Doesnt like looking at cute babies? :) your items look good though. OH. And in your shop description use key words. Like handmade baby items crocheted blah blah blah. And your prices look fine to me. Good Luck! Hang in there!

Re: Need help

So in my title do I add the color so they will all be different? I can't figure out what you mean or how to make it so my things show up in google and the searches and stuff. Like today I have had no keyword searches so I don't know what to add or what to do.
