Jewelers Questions

Hi, all

I want to do something, but don't have time to research all the different jewelry stores out there. So I'm hoping that you here will be able to help us out.

We have some necklaces made that we want to use as "demo's" but not actually sell (my mom made them for me! :o) ). We would tell the buyer that they could order it in different colors, that type of thing. Is that something that is done right now, or would we be better off just selling an actual item?

If it is a custom order you could make them as the orders come in but I do believe the item being shown has to be for sale.

I see that all the time on etsy. You should say how long the turnaround is and any potential differences.

include the colors available and advise your buyer of the time frame for completion and shipping

Now I'm not saying that what I am doing is right, it is just an example of how it can be done

Maybe use one photo with all the different colors and say it can be customized. I've seen others do that with all sorts of items.

People do that all the time. Simply tell how long the turn around is going to be and let the buyer decide if they want to wait.
