Had a thought...open to discussion? As a homesteader and organic, natural skin care business, I make infusions with the herbs and botanical I grow in my organic gardens, some of which are and some can be infused with purified water (natural spring).
I also make sugaring for hair removal, in which a small ingredient is water.
That being said, the sugaring paste I make has a slight lemon smell to it because of the fresh squeezed lemon juice (small ingredient 2).
~~thought....why couldn't I make variations to the sugaring paste such as mint, lemon balm (give stronger lemon smell), hollyhock, rose, and so on...~~
My hypothesis is that the infusions will add the benefits of the corresponding herb/botanical to the sugaring. (Such as the hollyhock, pictured here). The water itself gets cooked out, but I believe the herb/botanical emollient/extract would be added to the cooked sugar.
What do you think? Do I have the possibility of being able to offer more choices of organic sugaring? If so, what combinations (keep in mind that I use the fresh squeezed lemon, so that scent of slight lemon will be there)
Choices?
Hollyhock
Rose
Lemon Balm
Bee Balm
Strawberry
Lavender
Calendula
Mint
Chamomile
Thyme
Rosemary
