For those who read Handmadeology.com, I am curious...

What are your favorite type of articles that you see there? Etsy tips? SEO? Blogging? Tagging? Etsy seller Stories? Tips on Running a Business in General? Shop Write ups? Get Crafty? What do you LOVE and what kind would you like to see?

I love the way Tim explains things and puts the screen shots up. I felt like a moron not being able to understand a darn thing about how to do something. I felt like his screen shots helped me learn and grow as seller.

I have to say even though I write on there my favorites include how to find your taget niche .... in Google. So good to know because there is so much competetion.

We're all so diverse that it's hard to choose favorite types of articles. What interests one might not interest another. Yet experience Etsians can still benefit from a more modern approach to marketing techniques, shop tips, SEO, etc., especially since Etsy seems to be evolving. Keeping with a good variety of informative content sounds good to me.

Re: For those who read Handmadeology.com, I am curious...

I learn something from pretty much all of the articles that I didn't know, but my favorite articles have been the ones with photo editing tips. I was also pretty motivated by the Make Something Everyday article on Etsy http://www.etsy.com/storque/how-to/make-something-every-day-11501/. I think that I'm on day 7 or 8? I have really been applying it to Skate Dog and have seen results immediately!

Re: For those who read Handmadeology.com, I am curious...

I love it all, because I can use all the help I can get and I love other people's finds and to see what my fellow artisans create. The more I see from others, the more I am inspired and business is quite different from live shows to on line stores, so I need all the help I can get to be able to sell in both venues. I appreciate it when successful people share their success and how they got where they are. I hope to be able to help others be successful, if I ever become as successful as Tim.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm always curious to know what artist workspace looks like so I personally like the articles about what people make. I sit and think about how talented people are, and no two seller's work is quite exact. I also could NOT live without the SEO and tips on how to promote your business. I think you guys had it right, all the content is good. @SkateDogStudios I wish I had the time.
