I just had to share this cool story about a recent sale in my shop.
I found a bunch of old photographs from the 1930's at an estate sale about a year ago. I listed several different lots of them in my shop, and had sold a few of them. There was one listing of 4 pictures of a Mother and daughter that had been listed for over 8 months and still had not sold. Several times I almost deleted the listing (it was only $6.00) but ended up keeping it on. Just recently the listing finally sold.
I received a message from the buyer asking if I had any more pictures of the people in the photographs because the little girl in the pictures was actually the buyer. The pictures were dated 1936 and she say's she was 4 yrs old when those pictures were taken. She had Googled her name and my listing popped up in her search and she was surprised to see pictures of her and her Mom for sale on Etsy. She immediately registered on Etsy and purchased the pics. I was able to find a couple of other pictures that included her Aunt and Uncle and included those as well.
I just thought it was neat to be able to get the pictures where they belonged.
Here's the original listing:

I forgot to mention that she is in Omaha, and the pictures were purchased at an estate sale in Northern CA. She was trying to figure out how they ended up here.
