I'm looking into possibly buying some ad space and am wondering where you've had your best results. I realize my target audience might not be the same as yours but please do share anyway. Give me all the tips you've got- but remember I'm working on a (very) tight budget and want to get a bang for my buck. Thanks in advance!

all information on this topic is valuable. I have to say that finding the best ad venues is always hard. And most of them do not make the cut. I use the PW ads and do monitor where my clicks come from.
Right now I am running other people's project wonderful ads on my blog and taking the money I get from that to run PW ads for my shop on other people's sites. Since I don't generate a lot of revenue from the ads on my blog, I don't have a lot of money to work with, I have seen some traffic come to my shop from the ads.
