A few of us in one of the other NZ Etsy teams met up last Sunday for some networking fun. We had a nice turn out of 5 shop owners which was a fantastic start.
We met at a cafe in Britomart where we discussed our shops and sharing everything from marketing ideas, useful contacts and resources and the challenges of selling online. We even had a wee show and tell where we admired each others crafts. A very talented bunch we are. :)
I personally found it quite nice meeting other Etsy sellers 'in real life' who get where you are coming from with regards to your Etsy shop. Not an easy thing to find in your every day life!
I think we would all agree that it was a nice boost of inspiration and we are keen to do it again in another month or two. If anyone else fancies joining in, please feel free to contact me or express your interest, ideas and venue suggestions here.
