New to the team and etsy!

Hey yall!
Any suggestions on how to get more views and likes? I have been in two showcases however the categories that my products fall under are all booked up for the month! How can I promote to my full potential!?
Thanks!

Re: New to the team and etsy!

I'm also new to Etsy, started my shop in Dec. didn't load a product until Jan. I find that I've gotten more views by participating in these teams and making friends. I joined a couple of teams this past weekend and now it's taken off!

-this team is GREAT: it's very active and always supporting each other. Post your pics in the "Show your BROWN.. GREEN... PINK" and watch things progress!

-in this team: The lists for "favoriting" an item from the shop above you doesn't disappoint! You get views and hearts WHILE supporting your team members!

-make treasuries, I've only tried my hand at a few but they've brought in views as well.

- giving "hearts" to others, lets people know you exist and draws them in

- join circles! I'll go join yours now!

- Having a Facebook fan page doesn't hurt. Link it to your Etsy account.

You're welcome to "convo" me for any elaboration or just for another newbie friend on Etsy.

Re: New to the team and etsy!

in this team there are discussions where you can post your newest pink, green, purple, yellow, etc colored items. Others can see what you make and it's a great place to start when making a treasury!
Just look through the discussions for the right one!

Re: New to the team and etsy!

The "Activity Feed" is how your items get noticed by others looking at the Feed. This increases your visibility as long as the item in visible, their friends and other circle or team members also see your item on their feed and so on. If you go to the Do's and Don'ts or the blog there is a brief explanation and an article on how to use tags and how the Etsy search engine works with them or in finding them.
