I copied and pasted this from another thread i was participating in because i am to lazy to retype lol
ok everyone! here is my review of my experience from heartsy (thus far)!
I HIGHLY enjoyed the experience. I sold 16 vouchers (not gonna lie, wish that number was higher, but hey! better than I thought i'd do), 7 of which have been redeemed, 5 of the 7 went over the voucher amount in orders (one went a significant amount over, yay).
I am still waiting for the other 9 to redeem theirs (hence the "thus far") but I am confident it will continue to be a positive experience. I DID profit (thanks so much for that etsy fee calculator bow wowzer, that things awesome :) ). Now I know a few (well more than a few now considering how long this thread has gotten hahaha) pages back people were getting on my about how my time shouldn't be free. i countered back with saying i enjoy spending the time working and don't feel like a should charge for my time (and i still feel that way). all in all time wise between printing and packaging i spent maybe 30 - 45 mins doing so (relatively quick ;) )
when it comes to google analytics the results were also quite pleasing. 716 visits (on daily average i'm usually around 230), some 4,000+ page views, a 33% percent bounce rate (down from 50ish) and 423 of the visits from heartsy. 21% new visitors (got to love the loyals).
oh and for those who think this "deal shoppers will never come back", 2 of them put in the message to seller section that they're happy heartsy featured me because they've never heard of my shop and both asked me to put them on a mailing list when i get new photos in (which i don't yet have - better get on it lol!)
all in all, i do agree heartsy may not be for everyone. if it takes a lot of time and a fair amount of money to produce your item it may not be for you.
anyways that's my experience! feel free to ask q's if you have any!
ps - the heartsy staff is soooo nice and helpful (they will live chat with you if you have q's at freakin 11pm for christ sakes lol) and the money from my vouchers was put into my paypal account immediately :)
