Question about having multiple shops

Hello! Here is a QUESTION for vintage Etsy shops.
My question is... should I start a new shop for the scrapbook and caligraphy designs - or would it be better under the Allthingshomey. Feedback on this quesiton and feedback on my site is much appreciated!
I have had my Allthingshomey shop since Oct. 2010 and sold various hand made items and things homey like buttons, lace, old patterns, etc. I have also listed several original scrapbook items and want to list more original scrapbook items to sell as digital downloads. I also want to list my caligraphy designs.
I also have a sister shop, www.Treasures4ewe.etsy.com, that I run with my daughter, that is mostly vintage.
Thank you!
Sincerely,

Re: Question about having multiple shops

I feel like having seperate shops would be good because the handmade and vintage sectors of Etsy are a bit different. If there are colors or items that would be good to link to items that are similar or might be of interest in other shops, then add it in the item discription to encourage browsing in both shops. Also, if you have some social media sites to share with your customers (or even ask what they would like) your ideas and maybe eventual new shop.

I've been wondering the same thing about my shop- all my stuff is handmade. It is just that I have a wide variety of things that would fit in multiple categories: Original and reproduced Art (watercolor, photography, acrylic, graphic design), crochet/knit accesories, and upcycled items (envelopes, mobiles, etc). I would like to add in more things like handmade jewelry and embrodered kitchen towels. Is this too much to showcase in one shop? What should be seperate from the others? Or maybe how to organize if I keep it all together? Perhaps you could give me some advice as well?
