Mod Podge glue

I'm wasn't sure where to ask this, and this is probably the wrong team/place to ask.

I'm interested in making pendants utilizing glass. Could I use "Mod Podge"? if so, how do I use it? I heard it's a sealer and glue? Do you use it? I don't know anything about this product, but I heard it's pretty good! Thanks

Re: Mod Podge glue

Buy a bottle and jump right in - there's nothing to fuel your creative juices like experimentation!

I've tried to use Mod Podge for all of that... (except not on glass - you can't use most 1-part glues on glass or other nonporous surfaces. I'd recommend a clear 2-part epoxy resin for that.)

In my experience (your mileage may vary)... Mod Podge is a poor glue - about half the strength of Elmer's. As a sealer, it's good for undercoating, but very "tacky" or "sticky" feeling once dry. So it's not a great topcoat.

One thing that's nice about it is that you can iron it (no steam or it will stick to the papers you put it between to iron!) and it won't yellow. Another thing is that it does not stink or give headaches/nausea due to fumes, like spray glues and lacquers. It is very safe!

Have fun and be creative. It's a cool item to have in your crafty arsenal. :)
