Since this GROUP is so NEW and one of my goals for this team is to create a like minded community of makers, I thought it would be a perfect time to do INTRODUCTIONS! I'm really excited about seeing 30 lovelies Talented Creators in here so far! Share a little about what you do, how long you've been doing it and post one of your favorite pieces you have in your shop! Hello! My name is Melanie. I'm from Philadelphia, PA.I started hand-lettering about 1.5 years ago when I was planning my wedding (as well as a bunch of my close friends')! I made all of my own wedding signage and addressed all of my envelopes. From there, I was getting requests' from others to make things for them! During this time, I decided to start an Etsy for myself! The biggest seller in my Etsy shop is my "Life Would Succ Without You" bridesmaid proposal cards! I don't use an IPad or Cricut for any of my designs.. they are all done by hand (which sometimes makes it tough)! I'm excited to learn from all of you, and to hopefully grow my Etsy shop!

My name is Taylor and I am based out of Lakewood Ranch, FL. Hello! My name is Sydney and I just started my Etsy shop. I am 19 and a college student. I have always been obsessed with handwriting and making things look pretty! This passion all started with wanting my apartment to look "Pinterest Worthy", so I started doodling and drawing out cute sayings. Hi there, I'm MacKenzie! I opened my shop just two weeks ago - but I've been making since I can remember! More recently - 2 years ago I did some calligraphy and signs for my own wedding.

I just started working with the Ipad Pro and Apple pencil - which is amazing! But I most like the chalkboard art - my custom projects! I hope to expand this work to restaurants/bars/breweries.

Hello! My name is Esther, and I create beautiful calligraphy & handlettered home decor items. I also paint watercolor florals & botanicals.

I started calligraphy as a hobby 2 year ago when my son was born. I loved it, so I started an insta account (@esty.letters) to track my progress, and I started to receive lots of custom requests from family & friends. Hello! My name is Grace Han and I'm a calligrapher and the owner of GraceLetterCo. I started my Etsy page about a month ago to build my brand and really get myself out there. It's great to know that there is a community here to support each other.
I started lettering for fun and decorated christmas cards- proud to say that it's been a year since I started posting my work on social media and now I have an Etsy Shop. I also hosted my first workshop and would love to continue hosting workshops in 2019. I'm also trying to step my foot into the wedding industry and really expand my business. Most importantly, I really enjoy being a creative and working with other artists.

One thing I've noted in my experience in the calligraphy community via social media, is that community really makes a difference. Support and advice from other letterers inspired and encouraged me. Hope to do the same here!
