Where do you get our ideas for your jewelry? As for us a lot of the time new pieces just come up in our minds from out of nowhere, and other times we might be inspired by nature, a photo, etc.
Most of the time I sit and draw jewelry items that I think would be cool, and then I attempt to make them. Sometimes it works..sometimes it doesn't. My inspiration comes from a variety of places: pinterest, photos, architecture...to name a few. Other times it's just playing around with my materials to see what looks cool.
I spend ALOT of time on firemountaingems.com. They have a hugggeeee gallery of designs. Very nice items I might add....it give a person good ideas, but in making the item,,,I tend to get carried away and revamp it.
