I'll start. :) I'm a PhD student at U of M. I moved up here from the sunny south. I love it here, although I'd like more moderate weather. I'm on Etsy because I love making things, as well as buying and selling. I have this shop, and two others: www.cardsartandgifts.etsy.com and www.prettymommabeauty.etsy.com.

I hope this team will be a good resource for Ann Arbor area sellers and buyers.

I've had some health issues and have been unable to work and have turned to my art skills as a way of making at least some sort of income. Hello Everybody! I'm Melissa and I own Dead Ringer Designs which is a custom apparel business located out of Monroe, MI. (we're south of Ann Arbor by about 20 minutes) I've worked in screen-printing shops for years and have recently taken the plunge to open up a shop of my own. Hi Tiffany, and welcome! Etsy is a lot of hard work, but it is also a lot of fun and can be very rewarding!

A couple of first suggestions is work on using longer, multi-word keywords (because Etsy ranks items higher when they completely match the buyer's search term in one tag, versus over two tags) and put up more items so you have more opportunity to be found!
