Welcome Deborah! The best advice I can give is to read the sellers handbook, ask questions about anything that needs clarifying and be patient. Good luck.
My advise would be just do it. Set up your shop with a few items and learn as you go. You will never stop learning and improving. Etsy is awesome and just full of interesting and creative people and you will find it can up your game just watching the creativity that takes place here.
