Advice? Suggestions?

So my shop has been open a little under a year. I'm a bit slow to produce stuff because I have limited sewing time, but my shop is slowly filling up.

This past month I finally got a sale! 2 actually - a week apart! Super exciting!

I've been updating my pictures, adding models when I can get them.

I feel like I'm pricing my stuff too low, but am also basing it on what others are pricing similar items.

I've been trying to promote my Facebook page, but am not having much luck.

Help? Suggestions? Critiques?

I'm having one of those moments of 'why am I doing this and not just sewing for myself and my children?".

I have a similar situation. I opened my shop less than a month ago, trying to add more items, improve photos, promote my shop and Facebook page, but "not having much luck". Would be glad to hear any suggestions as well.

Anna - Your titles for your items are too brief. I've been learning about that too. You could write something like Headband, fabric flower, blue. And for tutus you could write something like Tulle tutu, pink and purple. I'm sure there are better ways to do this, but bascially the more descriptive words you can get in that title the better. :) And then repeat those words in your listing description and again in your search terms.

Your pictures are lovely and the things you are making are beautiful too. :) I'll head to your facebook page and 'like' it and add your shop my my favourites too. It all helps.

Are you on Twitter? It helps me get more hits (and I've gotten a couple local sales that way too).
