New to the team, and love this! I have enjoyed spending some time looking through some of the shops! .....and wasn't that the coolest Moon? I drug my husband outside to see it and help me decide where to put my crystals, I think he thinks I am nuts, but bless his heart he puts up with me!

That is hilarious Gari Anne I did the exact same thing dragging my poor husband out to see the super moon too!!! He also puts up with me, aren't we blessed to have such wonderful hubbies!!
Currently working on filling the shop with as much Halloween as possible...but then you can never have too much Halloween, can you!!
Hoping for HUGE sales around Halloween. For those of you that were here last year how did it go?? When did the sales start to pick up?? Peak???

Hi Pippen, yes we are blessed to have hubbies that accept those things about us :). Actually my husband is a big Halloween fan, in our old neighborhood (and when the kids were little) we went all out for Halloween, making haunted trails, he motorized things to scare the kids, etc. In fact, right after last Halloween he came home with a life sized Skeleton that was on sale at the Halloween store. Sat him at the dining room table and he is still sitting there! Waiting... One day I dressed him up like my huband and took his picture. It is on my facebook page!

Awesome picture!!! My hubby loves Halloween too. Each year we "do up" the yard and the local school buses actually change their rout so they can bring the kids by...it's awesome!!! One year we hid behind the tree and jumped out at them...scared the crap out of them...and the driver...we won't be doing that again...but it was a blast!! I'm thinking I'll change it up this year and turn the yard into a graveyard complete with the living dead of course!!!

Hi everyone, Hopefully one of you is a Halloweenie with a heart...I need some SERIOUS help in the blog/FB/Pinterest area. The Computer Gods do not like me it seems. I have a FB page and attached to it is Wildwyck Woods but that's as far as I can get it to go...what do I do with it now??? I tried to send invites to people and add friends but it won't let me!! Does anyone have any advice??? Or maybe look at your page so I have some idea of what to do with the darn thing???

Blogging??? I know what it is but the how escapes me as does the how you get people to read it part.
Any advice would be most appreciated!!! Thanks

Sounds wonderful! We had so much fun, we did the Graveyard thing once too, lots of fun! We did it in back and made everyone walk behind the house. My husband had a remote control smoke machine and he would keep it foggy and he walked around dressed like the Grim Reaper! Now we live in the country and don't ever get trick or treaters :(

What is your FB page link, I will go take a look at it and see if I can give you some help. As for blogging you just have to start and you develop readers over time as you post stuff they want to read, etc.

Your page looks like it is set up right, so all you have to do is start sharing it with friends, post places and leave your page name, I go back and forth between my personal and business page at least 4-5 times a day. Gradually it will build up the more you tell people about it. Lastly you can advertise if you want to spend the money. I have done that a few times......

My husband is not a huge Halloween fan (he's kind of neutral on all holidays, really), but he tolerates my obsession with it. Kind of like he tolerates my obsession with rocks, and fossils, and gardening.

Amber, I just write my blog for me. write it for yourself and if people come they come. I have found that doing fanart related things get people to come. are you using blogspot or another website?

Also by partner is the same way. But is birthday is on Halloween so it's a little different for him.

@Amber, something to remember about Blogs is that Google and other search engines index them and keywords so even if no one reads it, if you post often and have links in it to your shops and websites someone might find what you are selling.
