I'm undecided on putting threads up for holidays that are further than a month or two off ... anyone have opinions on this? I mean, I realize there is Christmas in July so that will open up in plenty of time -- but how far in advance do people shop for holidays, do you think?

Oh! And when is Teacher's Day? Can someone help me out? I'm running around today.

Teacher appreciation week is May 5- May 9th. Teacher appreciation day is Tuesday, May 6th.

Perhaps you can also include Administrative Professionals day. That is April 23rd.

Maybe aside from the major ones we should have threads by month for the lesser-known holidays? I can put in the explanation of that month's thread all of the holidays I can come up with which will be during that month... then sellers can say a little blurb about which holiday(s) their item may be good for, along with the link / picture of their item(s). Otherwise we may have so many threads chaos could reign supreme. =)

The Christmas thread I'll post this week, because there are so many people who are creating for it year-round. Plus several people love to have their shopping done wayyyy early. I am not ONE of these people, but <grin>
