Here's an interesting tidbit ... well, may only be interesting to me but eh...
Perhaps you've heard about a small village in Bavaria that is famous for its shop & museum that celebrates Christmas all year round? I'd seen a blurb on it in a Rick Steve's Europe program on PBS once and fell in love with it. The town is the oldest standing medieval town (I believe in Europe though don't quote me -- it's been awhile since I read up on it).
It's called Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Should you wish to see the town, this is a nicely narrated video on Youtube:

One day I will visit, or at least it's on my bucket list. =) Last year in doing some genealogy work, I learned that back to the 1640's my grandfather 17th removed -- yes, 16 great-grandfathers past -- as well as his son both lived and worked there! They were farmers in this walled and gated village, which to me is SO special because the town would have counted so heavily upon them to produce good harvests! There was only X amount of land allotted to the town as open space, and their farming done on the rolling hillside which is still there and open land today. Anyway, that's my little connection to the town which celebrates ' Weihnachten ' ( Christmas in English ) all year round! Now let's see your creations / supplies / requests / what-have-you!
