A lot of people have asked me if magnetic therapy really works...
I truly believe it does, not only because we sell magnetic beads, but because I have had magnetic therapy in the past.
I had to undergo surgery on my right leg years ago. The pain afterwards during the healing process was unbearable and the healing time seemed to last forever. Then I had the bad news several months later that I was going to have to undergo the same surgery on my left leg.
My podiatrist was very sympathetic because he remembered the horrible time I had with my right leg and he asked if I would be willing to try "something new!" I said I would be willing to try anything if it helped me to heal faster and with less pain.
I was then introduced to a magnetic unit made by Orthofix®.
Generally it is a unit you strap onto the affected area and it forms an electromagnetic field around the wound. You wear it for several hours a day.
I was absolutely amazed at how it cut the pain to almost zero!!! I actually tested it by letting the leg get to an almost unbearable ache and strapped it on and 15 minutes later I could hardly feel any pain at all! I was able to go through my healing process with almost no pain medications (the right leg I was drugged out of my head almost all day every day of the healing process)!!
Here was the best part...My leg healed in 1/3 of the time the other leg took. I kid you not! It was awesome!
It was at that time that I really started studying about magnetic therapy because our oldest son had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy. He was in so much pain during that time that I wanted to help him in some way.
We had a wonderful friend donate a large box of magnetic therapy beads to us so we could make jewelry to sell to offset the costs of gas to and from the hospital 3 times a week, and so I made my son several bracelets, necklaces and anklets to wear when he was in pain...He loved them and said he noticed a significant reduction in pain while wearing them.
Daddy and Me magnetics was born at that time. We began making jewelry for other cancer patients to help with their pain and many of their friends and relatives began asking for jewelry as well. I was selling them there, at church, at work, and the more I sold the more people wanted!
I will be posting more info that I have found on the internet while studying magnetic therapy and healing. Some stuff is a bit "Hocus Pocus" and I ignore that part, but the science is there, and people in the orient have been using magnetic therapy for centuries!
