What problems have you encountered making greeting cards?

Hi all,

As a card maker myself, I understand there are a tremendous amount of difficulties we face everyday to bring to life the most attracting and high-quality cards. Just wonder if we can share that and hopefully learn from each other's experience.

What is your card making style?
What problems do you have making cards? Technically? Other problems?
Have you found any solution for those problems?
Have you heard of pop-up/kirigami cards? What do you think about them?

Sharing is caring. Look forward to hearing from you guys :)

I find cost prohibitive :/ Greeting cards tend to not sell for much but cardstock and other materials can be expensive. I create lino print cards so the labor differs from a digital printed card; sometimes that poses a problem if you don't realize you have ink all over you haha.

I find the cost tricky too. I have to sell the cards for a high price to cover my printing costs..it would be great to have a printer at home..
But having said that, I love selling cards and sharing the art with people who don't want to spend too much. When I spend a lot of time on a painting such as the ones below, it can add a lot to the cost in time..
