Hi everyone! I have created a Pinterest board called Etsy After Dark that I have also turned into a blog (because I absolutely love the name and concept)! Both accounts are dedicated to showcasing and promoting beautiful gothic, fantasy, and alternative Etsy items including clothing, jewelry, home decor, and everyday household items. Anything really! It'll be a nice break away from the regular Etsy front page and that "white modern" look. As for the larger picture, I would like to raise awareness to online subculture communities that Etsy is not just a place to go for pastel pillows but also for decadent and dark, beautifully unique alternative fashions and things!
I would like to browse your shops and pin items which will eventually make their way onto the blog. I don't want the blog to be a simple repeat of everything on Pinterest, so until the blog gets a large enough following where I can start showcasing individual shops I won't be posting everything from the board to the blog (and vice versa [it is a lot of working adding the links and text to every post]), but don't worry! Everyone will have at least one item posted on the blog/board, probably more!
If you don't mind, please visit and follow/bookmark the Etsy After Dark blog and Pinterest board and show support for everyone who I have/will promote! Like posts, favorite items you love, etc etc.
Additionally, you can submit your own photos whenever you like on the blog! This would be the best (easiest and fastest) way to ensure that you get featured on the blog (and more than once too!). Eventually, I'd love to have the blog run on lots of submissions and in the future I would love to showcase individual shops and sellers/artists.
