Hi, I'm Kelleen. I'm 29 years old, from the wonderful state of Washington. I love it here and wouldn't change it for anything. I live about 20 minutes south of downtown Seattle. I love just going to the Seattle waterfront and just walking around for no reason.

I started my love for sewing when I was 10 years old and haven't stopped. When I got to high school, I took sewing as an elective for 3 years. Then Once I graduated from high school, I kept going with my sewing adventures and went to school @ The Art Institute of Seattle for Fashion Design.

I opened up my shop after I had made a apron, pot holders and some coasters as a wedding gift for my friend. She ended up really liking the gift, so I thought why not try and sell my items. Then after a while my mom thought I should try and get into the kids scene by sewing clothes for them as well. I also wanted to open up my own shop since I wasn't able to find a job in my field as a fashion designer. I thought what better way for me to get into the field then to just sew my own things and see where it takes me.

Some of my favorite interest are- watching sports on tv or live, camping, hiking, being with my family, watching tv, and going to plays every once in a while.

Hi, my name is Jaime. I am 28 years old and live a little bit outside of Philadelphia, PA. I work full time as an Assistant Manager in a country club. I spend most of my free time working on craft stuff or cooking. I love to host parties and cook for others.

I started my shop after painting wine glasses as favors for a bridal shower I threw last year. My shop has slowly been growing and I am really excited about all of the stuff I have been able to do with it so far.

Hey there! I'm Jennifer Bradshaw, a recent University of British Columbia graduate (international relations and political science double major). I'm about to start my Ph.D. at CIDE, Santa Fe, Mexico!

I've always needed creative outlets - drawing, painting, pottery, jewelry-making, etc. I opened this shop to share some of my love for one of a kind jewelry. I try to keep everything as affordable as possible so that everyone can do some pampering :)

Hello, My name is Nancy and I am a retired teacher. I started this shop to bring in extra money so I can support Soldiers' Angels, volunteer work I do. The SA write letters and cards, send packages with much needed and wanted supplies to soldiers in the small outposts in Afghanistan where they either do not have a PX or it is limited. Also support military families and wounded warriors. We are on a fixed income and have lots of medical bills, I am a Type II Diabetic on an insulin pump and have been hospitalized a lot since I retired. I have an order, my first, for a custom afghan that is 60 x 80 inches in a very close stitch pattern. I am so excited, work on it every day. Looking forward to getting to know you.

I started doing crochet in high school. I started out by making afghans for family members. I had many people tell me that I should try to sell my stuff but traveling around doing craft shows wasn't something that was possible for me.
When I heard about Etsy I knew that would be a great place to try to sell my crochet.

Hi, my name is Yvette. I am 40 years old and live in the Greater Toronto Area spcifically being Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

I took several jewelry making workshops and discovered how much I enjoyed it and how relaxing it could be. I decided to do something a little different and started making bookmarks instead. My bookmarks contain things like charms, crystals and pearls etc... so it's an extension of jewelry making.

I also enjoy making tile coasters. I decided to learn how they were done and thought initially, of doing them just for fun and gifts. Over time, I decided to make more and thought it would be a great idea to start selling them.

I discovered Etsy and voila, here I am! I am very happy to be a part of this large, informative community.

Hi Team Gifting! It was fun reading all the bios and checking out your shops! I'm just going to go ahead and say it, I'm 55 and live in Washington state -- just down the road from Kelleen in Puyallup. I've lived here 15 years and absolutely love it!
I recently found my Jr. and Sr.high school diaries and, on reading them, discovered that even then if I got to sew it was a good day. By 9th grade I had decided to major in Home Ec. I have a BS in Textile Design and have been fortunate enough to work or at least play with fiber arts ever since. Starting this shop just over three years ago was a natural extension of what I do. I consider myself a practical fiber artist. Re-purposed and reusable creations are my focus.
I have two precious grown daughters the live a couple of hours away and I live with my best friend and husband of 33 years and our sweet cat, Jack. We love hiking, biking, kayaking, snowshoeing and running.
Most important in my life is a personal relationship with a God who loves me so much He sent His only Son to die on the cross for me.

Hello everyone :D

My name is Inex :) I'm 28 this year and live in Perth, Western Australia.
I love doing fused beads and pixel art (still learning at the same time).
My hubby, Andrew, helps me from time to time (when he can stop practicing bass skills)... x)

We've been tweens/teens leaders in our church for 3+ years and our weekend usually got taken away by teens. Previously we were dealing with cuter kids at the church's Sunday School (hahaha).

At the moment I'm trying to build up Pixel Closet so one day it can help as a proper source of income :) (it seems like I'm spending more than saving when it comes to Pixel Closet) *hmmm*

I love Etsy, it's amazing how I found a lot of strong and inspiring people in Etsy :)

Hey there, everyone. Hope I'm not the only vintage seller on the team. My name is Laura and I'm a full time government employee and nearly full time Etsy vintage seller. I'm from Abilene (West Texas) originally and am now a nearly 9 year Austin transplant. I started the shop because I've wanted to sell vintage wares and antiques since I was in high school and the shop gives me an outlet to continue to hunt and pick for treasures. I'm married to a very patient and quirky scientist and we don't have kids (yet). I'd eventually like to get to the point where I'm doing the shop full time within the next year and quit the day job, especially if a Mini-me gets thrown into the mix. I adore Etsy; the community, the shoppers, the sellers, and all the amazing goodies! Thanks for the team invite!

Hello to everyone and especially Laura, a fellow west Texan! I'm a semi-retired teacher, and grew up not far from Abilene!
I used to teach home ec, and for a while was a dept manager of the gift department at a chain of Texas based dept stores. Got out of that when I had kids, though!
I mostly deal in vintage although I do crafts when I have time. Not sure how vintage will work in a gifts team, but will give it a try! Off to work now, but will be back over the weekend. Nice to meet you all!
