Selling at a Brew Fest?

Hi all, it's been a while!

Has anyone ever been to a beer festival and sold their products at a booth/table? I have an opertunity to do this in a few months at the Atlanta Summer Beer Fest and it seems like a great idea. Is it too good to be true?

Any suggestions or tips? Anyone else going?

I sold at a local beer festival last year. It was alot of fun but not a good money maker. I made money just not enough to make it worth while. Everyone who comes is there to drink beer and not to shop. Booth fees are very high as well so I don't think I will go back. I have tried to get into the largest ones in the area but they do not want to allow vendors. Good luck with yours and let us know how it turns out.

Hi Jacob - We sell at a lot of fests and have pretty good success with them. We look at them as a form of advertising for ourselves - making sure to get our name out there and expose people to our brand. Since we look at it this way, we're essentially getting paid to advertise to a group of our target market. Can't beat that!
