I haven't, nor do I know anyone who has. I always assumed that it might be our geek themed niche that keeps artists like us away from the front page - considering they are unlicensed products featuring or inspired by copyrighted characters/subjects. I'm not sure though.
I know there are a lot of shops that operate on Etsy that have a similiar themes and use copyrighted images a inspiration or materials for items sold. It does concern me considering that if your shop recieves mutiple reports it could be shut down. I just try to protect myself by adding a disclaimer in my shop poilicies and item listings stating that I do not own the copyright and if there are any issues with the item to just contact me and I will take it down. I'm not sure what else could be done, so if anyone else has any tips that would be great. I'll see if I can find any guidelines on fair use and copyright for us to refer to.
