Reasonably New Shop Saying Hi

Hi all,

I'm delighted to find so many great geeky folks on Etsy. I'm new to this whole game but enjoying it so far. I'd really appreciate feedback on my shop if any one feels like popping over to have a look. I'm trying to keep a range in the shop but not sure which geeky area to expand on at the moment. My personal favourite are the waistcoats but I'd be interested to hear what others think.

Wow, JoJo, you have a great range of products. The Portal stuff is my favorite, but I'm particularly bowled over by the silk paintings.

My critique is the one most often given: photos, photos, photos. It's what really sells your product. Rather than laying them flat, try to make stuff look more dynamic; hanging on something, or being worn. If that is difficult to do, I'd recommend fotofuze.com. I use it for my origami listings. No matter how white you think your backgrounds seem, it makes them whiter and gives your item more "pop."

Thank you got the feedback about the photos. I agree they need bringing to life a bit. I've had other work on the last week or so but I will be having a go at some new pictures over the next few days so watch this space!

Now I've got a bit of money coming in I'll be buying more silk and indulging in some silk painting. It is so relaxing :-)
