How to Trade on Etsy
1. You and another team member decide what you want to trade for, and message eachother. Please take into consideration that the price of shipping should be included in the value of the trade to make it as fair as possible.
2. Make sure you have have “OTHER” enabled as a form of payment. we use this option for trading so that we can mark the items as "Paid" later ourselves.
3. IMPORTANT ETSY RULE: Please DO NOT change your prices to .20 cents for a trade. This is considered "fee avoidance" and is AGAINST ETSY’S TERMS OF USE. Additionally, this places the team at risk of getting shut down. If you do not want to adhere to Etsy policy, then we politely ask that you NOT trade. We adhere to all of Etsy’s Terms Of Use and expect team members to do the same. Etsy will take the fee out of your trades for the percentage of the value of the items only.
4. You purchase their item using the "OTHER" button then they purchase yours the same way.
5. Once both orders have been placed using "OTHER" then you each click the blue button that says "PAID"
6. Once you click the "PAID" button the shipping options will be enabled in the receipt section, then you each ship the item(s) out to each other.
7. IMPORTANT: once you both get your item(s) it is highly encouraged that you LEAVE AWESOME FEEDBACK.
