Hey Geek Squad!

I thought it might be fun for everyone to get to know more about each other and your shops! Post some info about yourself and 3 items from your shop you'd love to share! I'll get the ball rolling! :)

Who are you? Hi team! My name is Cat, I'm from the Metro Detroit, Michigan area.
What's your store name? My store is The Ramen Empire
What do you make/sell? I mainly sell anime, video game, and comic book themed items. I mostly focus on vinyl decals and jewelry, but I'm for sure looking to branch out even more.
Your favorite geeky interests/qualities: I am a huge nerd when it comes to (as I'm sure you can guess) anime, video games, and comics. I like playing RPG's and MMO's, I'm a crazy cat lady, and pickles are my favorite food! I love drawing, collecting action figures, and anything with glitter!
If you could have a super power, what would it be and why? Being a shape shifter would be super fun!

I currently moved to France where i am currently studying. To spice up my daily life i decided to open up a shop where i mainly do cosplay inspired designs. I have been a cosplayer for many years, and i love the idea of it.
My designs are made in a way so that they fit multiple genres, so not even can it be a cosplay, but for example the totoro inspired dress is also perfect for lolita fashion.

Our shop is a partnership. My name is Marisa and my awesome business partner is named Kassondra. I'm from the Portland, Oregon area, and she's from the Orlando, Florida area. We met through Etsy in 2011, hit it off really well and eventually decided to join forces and the rest is history!

This shop is a brand new offshoot of our main shop (AppliqueGeek) dedicated to our fandom merch. This shop opened a few days ago, but we opened our main shop a few years ago.

We sell software for embroidery machines and SVG files for cutting machines like Cricut and Silhouette. We also sell posters and PDFs and through sites like spoonflower, cafepress, and teepublic, we sell fabric, shirts, and cell phone cases. Kass and I come up with ideas together and then I draw them out and she digitizes them for the embroidery software.

We're both huge geeks and between the two of us, pretty much every fandom is covered as far as our interests. For me personally, I'm into SuperWhoPotterLock as well as Star Wars, Star Trek, and Firefly. I collect geeky tee shirts (I probably have around 60 at the moment), pop vinyls, and Simpsons merch. I also love to cosplay.

Hi! I'm Beth and I'm new to Etsy as well as to this group. I live in Central Ohio and am mom to 4 kids.

Most of the fandom types of things I have made so far seem pretty boring compared to the amazing things you all have made!

I really enjoy working with shells--that's how I got started making jewelry. So all things mermaid are wonderful to me. I have made a few elf ears, but I have only listed one because the others have sold at craft shows before I have had a chance to list them. I look forward to making more, though. I have also had a request to make beaded necklaces in Harry Potter house colors and I have started, but again, they aren't all on Etsy yet because they happen to be the colors for some local high schools and they have sold at craft shows.

Now, for the name, which I'm sure some people are wondering about. I'm an 80's kid and I LOVE all things 80's and retro (ESPECIALLY NINTENDO). I was trying to categorize the things I make without pigeon-holing myself for the future, which is where I got treasures (encompassing trinkets, keychains, jewelry, figurines, etc.). There ya go... Tubular Treasures was born; it was almost Like Totally Tubular Treasures, but that seemed a bit much ;-)

I'm Jeff from Jeff Janelle Art & Design...i know...not very catchy...but the graphic designer side of my business needs boring! LOL

In reality, I'm a complete geek...especially for comic books, superheroes and science fiction. I've been collecting comics since I was first able to read...so a lot longer than anyone might imagine! I'm a huge fan of both Stars...Trek and Wars. I'm a Whovian for sure...and just pretty much a huge fanboy.

I do a variety of artwork, from scratchboard to painting to digital art. My shop focuses right now on my digital prints that are very minimalistic. My focus has been on heroes, but I'm expanding to villains, tv and movie universes and I would love to start doing more outside the comic book genre.
