Hi , I decided to make a group just for us geeky gals. I am pretty much a well rounded geek, likes comic, manga, anime, books, video games, star trek, dr.who, superheros, dungeons and dragons, and I did play WOW once too.
If you check out my shop you can see my geekiness has influenced my work.
I hope to make some new friends and spread our geeky products out for many people to see.

Great idea for a team!!! I'm Mary, the female half of Kingsley Vintage. I'm a theater nerd that loves steampunk and broadway. Comic books and SciFi movies while knitting or making fabric flowers are my evening hobbies now that we have a new baby in the house :) We moved from Toronto to PEI and decided etsy was the best place for us to create and post things we love.

I enjoy videogames (currently play EQ2, and a little Rift, and LOVE DDR!), Star Wars and having a good laugh ;)

Hi, I'm Lisa but am often called Molly due to my shop name.
I'm probably more nerdy than geeky.. probably.
Love Star Wars, Star Trek, Big Bang Theory, Lego, Yoda is my hero. I'll watch any sci-fi movie and enjoy it :) My husband only married me because I don't do 'chick flicks', of course, he fills me in on all the geekiness I've missed by teaching me all about super heroes, Magic, comics, etc. I married him because he doesn't speak Klingon.
Not into video games anymore as working, the shops, and the kids have killed all that.
Like Mary (Kingsley Vintage), I often stay up into the wee hours creating Lego things or folding origami bouquets while watching season after season of geeky tv goodness on the computer.
There's way more but it's late and I must sleep now.

Hello. I love comics, cartoons, manga, anime literature, films and videogames! I also love alternative fashion, illustration, sewing and making jewellery and clothing. My geekiness hasn't really influenced my designs directly, but is definatly an influence.

Hello everyone! Nice to find a Geek Girls team! I am a big fan of original ST, SW, Dr Who, B5, currently getting my Eureka and Warehouse 13 fix. :-) Back in the day I wrote game scripts for RPGs (@ Jen, I wrote a lot of scripts for the original EQ game) and I still use gaming dice in my creations http://www.etsy.com/listing/69504218/ten-sided-die-pendant I'm also very into Steampunk right now and a lot of my creations fit well into that venue too. Hey well i am a gamer chick , I love to play games like D&D and magic the gathering. I used to collect allot of comics like cat woman and lady death.. I like to draw allot of comic book art . Hi, im a bit of a rubbish gamer, i tend to just stick with the good ol' Crash Bandicoot (which influences some of the items in my shop) and classics like crazy taxi and rayman. My boyfriend is trying his best to convert me to new games such as god of war and infamous, but im not that good just yet i think xD

I love shows like the big bang theory and especially CSI, only the grissom ones though as i love his fascination with bugs/insects etc. In my spare time i make alot of clay jewellery and illustrations :). Nice to meet you all!

I'm in to pretty much all brands of geekery - video games (PC ftw), fantasy, scifi, steampunk, etc. I used to play a lot of TCGs but not so much any more. My favorite game at the moment is Dragon Age, although I still have a place in my heart for the old Sierra games. QFG, anyone?

A lot of my items are steampunk/fantasy inspired, although the bottom line is that I just like shiny things. :p Look forward to getting to know you all!

I'm a Gamer for the most part, Video Games, Pen and Paper RPG's, Table Top Games and Live Action too^^ I'm also a huge anime fan and a dork for dressing up which is where most of my inspiration comes in. I love to create Cosplay and wear it:D

I also love sci fi(Star wars), Ren fairs, Comic books and any kind of convention my husband drag's me to.

I'm also a licensed cosmetologist and on my break I hid in the back and read manga lol!!!

Hi all! I was so happy to find this team. I'm a comic / scifi / fantasy / steampunk kinda geek. The things I craft don't necessarily reflect much of my geekness, though I do try to do a steampunk-ish item or two on occasion.

Here are a few of my likes...
Comics: Deadpool, Wonder Woman, Bat Woman, The Boys and interesting indies that come along

Scifi/Fantasy: Torchwood, Doctor Who, Firefly; novels by Clive Barker, LK Hamilton, Neil Gaiman

I'm going to DragonCon for the first time this year (super excited) and I'm crafting a steampunk costume, complete with weapon.

I play a lot of games, both on PC and on 360. Played WoW for over 2 years. Grew up with video games around me all the time... my mom even played Toejam & Earl while I was renting a womb. :]

I am a total geek/nerd, whatever you call it. I have spent many a nights playing Dungeons and Dragons, and other similar games. I love video games but usually I'd rather watch someone play rather than play though cause I am horrible at them. Although I have been known to play occasionally various mmo's like WoW, or play League of Legends, some ds games, some psp games, Fat Princess, among so many others.
I love star wars, comic books, star trek, anime, manga, fantasy and sci fi novels and I could go on. If it's nerdy or considered geeky I probably like it.

I'm into pretty much everything. Anime, manga, videogames, tabletop games, cartoons, movies, I'm a LARPer and a cosplayer too.

I started making bead sprites when my boyfriend decided he wanted something that he couldn't afford to request and I developed a passion for spriting and bead spriting from there. I also like to make jewellery, but I'm not massively good at that still. I make hand painted bookmarks too, but I only do those for close family and friends at the moment so there's none on my store

Hello!
I am a very well rounded geek, I feel, although much of my recent geekiness is derived from BBC America(Doctor Who, Torchwood, Being Human...does Kitchen Nightmares count?). I was doomed to like Star Trek when my dad started me on the original series, and my husband likes near everythin trek(I've become quite well versed in Next Gen).
Let's see, my favorite author is Philip K. Dick, the Keaton Batmans are still some of my favorite superhero movies, I was in color guard in High school, and love the muppets to this day!

I also have been enjoying video games since Nintendo came on the scene(Super Mario Brothers!!!) and admittedly was playing Portal 2 earlier today...
I think I'll stop unpeeling all the layers of "Geek" I possess... Nice to meet you all!!
