Geek Girl Con in Seattle

Is anyone else going to Geek Girl Con in Seattle Oct. 19-20? This'll be my third year (I'm absurdly proud to have been an attendee since the beginning. ;)) Last year I shared a vendor booth with another crafter, which was a brand new experience for me, and I learned a lot. Selling went well, but I missed just hanging out with my friends, so this time I'm going as a regular attendee. I'm even going to cosplay!

I really love this Con, and it grew tremendously just from the first to second years, so I can't wait to see what's in store. If anyone else is going, I'd love to know so I can say hi.

Oh man! I'm moving from Arizona to Idaho the week before that. I doubt I could cram in a trip to Seatte right after but my brother lives there so I definitely think next year could be a possibility. What are you dressing as? =D

I didn't even know there WAS a Geek Girl Con! I would love to go one of these years. I'll have to do research though because my husband, nephew and I are already planning on attending next years ComicCon in San Diego. I don't think I could afford both trips. Lol. Those things can get pretty expensive. O.O

Yeah, I'm in L.A. so this is a big one for me with the travel involved, but it's totally worth it! Highly recommend, the atmosphere is the best. Comic-Con has grown too large for me, but the people behind GGC are pretty ambitious, so they're constantly expanding in scope, while staying intimate.

Sandra, I'm getting together a costume from the Image Comics series Morning Glories. I'll also be bringing my steampunk goggles along for a different day. :)
