Awesome, my fiance's favorite game is Chrono Trigger.

Final Fantasy VI. But I first played it when it was called III, and was on the SNES.
There were many other games I loved, too. Like Super Mario RPG, and Link to the Past, and Ocarina of Time, and Perfect Dark... I could probably go on and on.

Chrono Trigger is on my list of games to play; I've heard so many good things about it.

I loved Sonic the hedgehog! I also have really fond memories of playing Pitfall on the Atari with my dad. Atari, wow. Does that make me old? Because I feel really old

Mortal Kombat was the one that got me started. I would play the hell out of it with my uncle when I was really little. I'd say the two games that really impacted my childhood though were Ocarina of Time and Final Fantasy VIII. Really set me on my path to go to school for game design.

1998 - 1999 were awesome years for games :p

-Nights into dreams (omg, sega saturn much? :P)
-Pokémon snap
(Just bought it a while ago, it took me like an hour to play beginning to end, and I got a 9000 point Mew on the first try - Times do change!)

- All the pokémons for GB color.
-Harvest Moon
-Final Fantasy X
-Tekken Tag Tournament
-Starcraft
-Heroes III

I guess I'm part of an older group when I see the pokemon games and super smash brothers. Mind you, I love playing those but my first true love was Super Mario Brothers. I'd spend hours on that getting better and better and making my dad watch me play.

Then I think the original Donkey Kong sealed the deal on my video gaming. I always wanted to play Q-Bert but never got the chance. How sad is that?

Super Mario 2 (really!). For a reason I will NEVER forget. My parents grounded me to my room after scool days for 2 weeks. They took my video games.. BUT DIDN'T CHECK INSIDE THE NES! I played Super Mario 2 for weeks. Ah, memories.

Hard to say, really, and depends on how we define childhood. ;)

NES days: Probably Legend of Zelda (the original), and Paperboy. Bubble Bobble too.

SNES: Super Mario Kart, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Final Fantasy 6 (has been a constant love since) ... Secret of Mana... god there's quite a few.

PS: FF7, FF9, Star Ocean: The Second Story... the list can go on and on. And then I stopped being a teenager. Alas. XD

Atari 2600: Asteroids. Hands down, I had the most fun as a kid before the NES came along with it doing all sorts of silly and stupid things, like shooting all but 1 or 2, and then zooming at high speed "dodging" them until I'd crash. 8D I was very inventive then with my entertainment! Forget playing it how it should be, I made up new stuff to do!

I never did lose that either, I've always been creative about ways to entertain myself in games outside their normal routines.
