Hello everyone! My name is Jonna, I created this team because I love to play etsy team games and I thought it would be great to have all of them in one place.
I also thought it would be a great way to meet new people and help promote and sell our items.
I am a stay at home mother and my shop has been lots of fun and a huge learning experience in running a small business.

Hi there! We live in Athens, Greece. although Claudine is from UK while Andre is from Belgium. We have more years than we want to admit producing candles, and not that much into jewellery. Everything produced in our basement, using our own methods and techniques we've learnt with a lot of sweat. We sell locally in Greece to high end gift and jewellery shops. Recently we launched a website and opened our Etsy shop, so we still have a lot of work to do in order to get our products up.
We hope to find advice for some things, and we're totally willing to share our own experience with all of you!

Greetings from snowy Maine! I have to admit that I do love the winter, although this area I live in is pretty quiet during this time of year. The quietness doesn't help the pocket book but it has allowed me time to create my etsy shop, which I've been contemplating for years!

I am a photographer. I focus my business on photographing children and families, with the occasional wedding and event. In my down time I photograph animals, flowers and whatever nature presents to me. These down time photos are what fills my etsy shop :)

Hi my name is Kavya, from India, now a Mainer! :D I am an architect by profession and had never discovered my hidden creativity until recently. I am a sincere student of you tube, learnt almost everything i know watching the videos and really great tutorials online.. ;)

I'm so glad to be part of this team! I live in Bath, have been here for almost 2 years. My Etsy shop is filled with items made out of jigsaw puzzle pieces. I fell into this idea when I moved back to Maine 2 years ago, was putting a puzzle together, had spent hours and days working on it. When I was finished, I thought, now what? Throw it back in the box? Display on the wall? I started playing, and it's still evolving. I try to get away from it, but for me, it's something I love to do, it keeps a spark going inside me.

I've only been on Etsy for a year, still learning, have so much to learn, and am looking for some guidance.

My name is Kate. I am from Oregon and own a preschool. I teach 2 classes a day. Just had the sweetest Christmas Program Ever! No one hit anyone and all was good in the world! LOL

When all my own children moved out and started families of their own... I found I had time on my hands! So, I started a mosaic shop on etsy. I found out that I loved to fuse glass too... my mosaic shop was filling up with fused glass stuff... so, in my crazy wisdom I opened this shop. I have no idea what I was thinking... two shops is a lot of work!! I also sell my pretties in shops in my small town.

Hello everyone. My name is Steve and I am a woodturner. If that sounds a little like an AA introduction, it should. Woodturning can be a powerful addiction too! ;-) Fortunately, my addiction is woodturning and not alcohol!. I have been turning for about 14 years and I create functional and artistic pieces on the lathe. I often add what a friend of ours calls superfluous ornamentation - paint, pyrography, carving, dyes and combinations of those things. I have been selling in other on line venues for a couple of years with mixed results and so thought I would try Etsy. I just opened my shop this month and all of the items in my shop right now are functional with no ornamentation but that will come. I've had one sale so far and that's encouraging.

It's nice to be here. I have had an Etsy shop for many years, but only just became active. Just when I was building momentum, we wer hit by the flooding in Boulder, CO, and in addition to my whole living space in my home, my studio was washed out! But we rebuilt, went on an awesome vacation to Costa Rica, and are back!

I have been a jewelry designer for about 13 years, with a strong wholesale business. I also do local art shows, and am rounding out my sales with my Etsy store. I love custom orders and Etsy is the perfect venue for that. I use semi-precious stones, hand-knotted on silk cord, in addition to delicate gemstone designs on gold, gold-filled and sterling chain. First, let me give a warm welcome to Bobbie Jo just joining Etsy and all! It wasn't so long ago that I started on Etsy almost four months ago. Wow! I can't believe how many people are from Maine! I was born and raised in New Hampshire. Then we moved to the Bay Area in California and now I'm living with my husband of almost 13 years in Portland Oregon! I even lived in Eugene Oregon for college at the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) and Issaquah Washington just outside of Seattle for a bit.

I started making jewelry and just loved it. With all the support and enthusiasm from my family and friends, I decided to start selling my jewelry to others. It has been deeply gratifying and feels like quite the adventure. Having my own business and "working for myself" is a whole new avenue that I've NEVER done before. My jobs beforehand ranged from being a lifeguard & swim instructor while swimming competively myself; being a coffee barista, shift leader and bar trainer; being a counselor/therapist in mental health, which was eventually too stressful for me; which is why I am enjoying the healing energy I feel when I make jewelry.
