Every year over Labor Day weekend (first weekend of September) at Mephit Fur Meet, I organize a charity auction to benefit Tiger Haven Sanctuary. (www.TigerHaven.org)
Tiger Haven rescues abandoned and abused big cats (tigers, panthers, lions, etc) from all over the U.S. and gives them a safe and loving home for the rest of their lives. They currently have nearly 300 big cats to care for. Food, housing, vet bills (some come to them in horrible condition) really add up so every bit of help is so important.
If any creators would like to donate something for the charity auction, I would gladly include a business card with the item and have extra cards on the auction acceptance table. This way any of the hundreds of people that come by can take one and check out your shop in the future.
Animal and geek themed items tend to be the most popular at this auction.
