I should really close this shop a week before Christmas. I keep getting orders for books which I ship by media mail. I don't see a way to set up for options especially with the variations and the different weights of books. I have to keep emailing people to tell them it might not arrive in time unless they want to ship by a different method. I hate closing because I do get orders that are not for Christmas.
I just checked on the package I have missing and now it just says, arriving later than expected. I mailed it the day after the Postal Service had off for President Bush. It is supposed to be going to Alaska. It should have arrived by now. USPS is not doing a great job this year. I'm sure I'll have to refund but I wish I didn't have to. It's not going to be cheap this time.
I just heard from another one that didn't receive their package yet. I'm sure I'll get some wonderful reviews shortly. All is I can do is apologize. People just don't realize we don't deliver the packages.
Since I pulled all my aircraft from my shop I have been getting requests for the patterns. I wish I knew how to write a pattern the proper way so I could sell them. I have my designs written in my own version of shorthand, notes, and photos.
One of my packages was delivered but the other says it will arrive later than expected. I can't do anything about it but it seems to be moving again. I have no idea how the customer will react.
Debbie, did you ever purchase a pattern from someone on Etsy? I purchased a couple. Maybe you could see how they write the instructions.
How are you recovering? I hope you are starting to feel better.
Anne I will have to look into that for Patten writing. Doing a little better each day. Still have very limited use of my arm. It is very weak and painful to move. It is due to be x -rayed next monday.
