No, the Historical Society isn't closing. The librarian was fired on Friday. She was walking out when we were coming in. I don't really know what was going on. I ran out to the librarian and she told me they hired her Intern and fired her. Of course she just wanted to get out of there as quick as possible. The assistant librarian wasn't there or another volunteer we knew. I'm just wondering if they are still going to be there. I hope so because it's nice for my daughter to know someone there. I should know more this Friday. Hopefully things will be more settled.
I'm actually working for a Provider and working with my daughter because of the huge turn around in staff with providers. I work 12 hours a week. My daughter's annual review is coming up and we are updating goals and the provider that I work for wanted my input. This is new to me because I didn't think the position I had would be asked to help update goals. I never was asked as a parent before but then we had a wonderful staff person for 6 years that handled all that. She left in August so everything is a mess right now.
I woke up with a rash on my face this morning. I had to go to the doctor when I was done working with my daughter. I'm on an antibiotic. I don't think he knew what it was. My dr. isn't going to be in all week so this was someone I never saw before. I just hope it starts clearing up. Maybe it's from all this stress! This shop is so busy. I should really go on vacation for a while but I hate to close when I'm selling.

Tim, my 16 year old really isn't the problem. The 12 year old is more of a headache and it's not that she is bad. It's all the stupid stuff 12 year olds deal with today. Social media is part of the problem but also she is dealing with all that teen stuff earlier than we ever had to.

Hi Rosey, I wish I could say yes. I am sure you guys are tired of my whining so I just disappeared. My flare-up is still driving me crazy. I had to have an unexpected mammogram yesterday for a golf ball size mass that appeared out of no where. They think it is related to my disease, I see a specialist on Monday. now I am headed to the eye doctor to see what damage it has done to my eyes. Hopefully, none.
I did get some work done on the aircraft, parts made but need to assemble now, Mailed one off yesterday on the way to the imaging center . The clerk at the post office wanted to know if we could hand deliver it , it was to Hawaii. She offered to drive to the airport. I told her sure and next week we get to go to Germany.
Yeah Rosey, seems there are way more issues with teens today then yesteryear when we were growing up. Social media and bullying are a huge part of that. On top of that everyone now lives in such materialistic worlds that is seems everyone is in competition with each other.
Debbie, do what you can, that's all any of us can do. Glad to hear the eye appointment was good but concerned about the golf ball size mass. Sounds scary. Hope it is what the doctor said.

Beautiful weather here today. Need to find someone to cut the weeds in my courtyard. I have a new brace coming for my leg but it has not got here yet. Hopefully once I get it I will be able to walk better and cut the weeds myself.
The thunderstorms were not that bad. Lightning was strong but the worst of it stayed east and north of the town. Got little rain. I guess we were lucky.
Grass looks like it needs cut but just not ready to start all that yet.
I wish it were warmer overnight. The spring peepers are out and all the frogs chirping is nice to fall asleep with. Good thing you can still hear them with the windows closed a bit.
We have a beautiful day today! I do hear the forecast is supposed to be colder weather again though. The malls and shopping centers still have large piles of snow! It's hard to believe that was only 2 weeks ago that it snowed.
We have had so much rain lately that the taller pine trees in our neighborhood are having the root balls tipping out of the ground causing the trees to fall.
Beautiful day temps in the 80's. I have the AC on . the landscaping people are out riding around on their lawnmower.
Rosey, saw on facebook about your swimming pool. sorry it can not be fixed cheaply. I remember when our above ground pool gave up, I was in college and my Dad said we did not need a pool. Came home one weekend to an in ground pool being installed, he answer was Mom wanted it. Dad was in the pool everyday during the summer and my Mom just sat there and laughed at him.
