Beautiful day here also, not complaining I can take a winter like this . I do not even have the heater on.
Off for my daily walk and then back to the crochet hook. My flareup has put me way behind but there is nothing I can do when that happens but go day to day.
Weather sure changed today.... temps are ok but it is pouring cats and dogs... tornado warnings
I needed to go to home depot and get a light bulb for my kitchen ceiling light but that will have to wait. I will have to work in the very dim light since only one is working out of the two I have. Great day to curl up in front of the TV....
Debbie, my older daughter just got over a small concussion and now my younger daughter is dealing with a knee injury.
She has a patella contusion with a dent in the cartilage. She is out of basketball for 2-3 weeks. So, nothing real concerning but still aggravating.
The ref's were terrible that game. She got hit hard by the opposing team. I was so upset. The other teams parents were screaming that she was pretending to be hurt. I actually screamed at them all to shut up. I was so tired of hearing how our kids were pretending to be hurt. One has a sprained ankle and now she is out for awhile. I can't believe I screamed like that but my head was pounding. I could tell by the hit it was bad. Ref's did not protect the kids. So sad.
Rosey, I would have yelled at that also. Hopefully, your daughter will heal quickly.
Seems winter weather is returning tomorrow. It has been in the high 60s and no need to wear a jacket. Last 3 days have been terrible though with severe thunderstorms and tornados. Tomorrow they are calling for freezing temps. Just hope the rain stops.
The weather is crazy, Monday it was pouring and so windy. I believe the sun might shine tomorrow. These cloudy days are getting to me. I need some sunlight.
I've really been busy with an order, working with my daughter and this shop is keeping a steady pace. I had a large sale in my other shop last week too. First she contacted me about a custom order and next thing I knew, she bought a bunch of my listings. It's so hard to find time to clean everything, photo and list items.
Life is getting in the way. From my kids concussion, knee injury, and a group of mean girls from the basketball team. I just hope it gets better. I'm sure it will but it has been quite a few weeks.
I hope things improve Rosey. I know what you mean by life getting in the way. I need some me time soon. We do the best we can and take it one day at a time.
I don't know if it is me time I need but we are making some changes around here. I also know that part of the mean girl stuff is social media so I am imposing restrictions and limitations. If it gets any more out of hand it's going away for awhile. I like social media for information and such but I don't need gossip or unsolicited advise. People get brave behind a keyboard.
I unfriended a ton of people and I am so much happier.
Debbie, she isn't healed yet. I have to take her to school and home. It's getting old. She says it still hurts to stand on it. We will see if she improves after missing her game on Saturday. She will go but she will be sitting.
Rosey, I am so sorry about your daughter. That has to be a pain for both of you. You are definitely going to need "me" time after all this.
I got my new camera it is "sony" . Now I have to figure out how to use it. I am going to try it out this weekend since I have 13 days to return it if I do not like it.
Trying to figure out what is going to be "in" in fabric this year. Can't really find the answer. I have been sewing a little. Today has been really lazy. Guess it is the snow showers or all the silly stress.

Weather is just as crazy, beautiful day today but was very cold last night.
I'm ready to explode today! My husband took my packages to the Post Office because I sold a large item which went Priority. He calls and tells me the postal clerk said I owed another $25.00+. I already printed a label for over $15.00. She told him I didn't measure the box. I must admit, I did switch the box because I needed it for something else I had to mail. I was with my daughter most of the day so when I came home we were scrambling all over for a smaller box. We found one so I went on the usps site and put everything in which said I owed maybe like $4.00 more. I told him to just pay the PO the extra money because I was not throwing my label out. He came back and said the postal clerk said what I had on was okay. We can't figure it out. Either she put in something wrong the 1st time. It showed on the usps site I would owe about $4.00 but now she says what I have on was correct! All day I was stressing about this package! Ugh..........I'll be scratching my head about this one. I also learned a lesson, do not switch a box after listing your item. I did measure the original box.
Anne, Sounds like the postal clerk either hit the wrong key or "leaned" on the scale. I have had the clerk in error have something leaning on the scale which increased the weight.
