Not accepted to Heartsy...

SO I just got word that I am not accepted to heartsy at this time... I told myself this could be an eventuality, but it was more of a low blow than I thought it would be...
Anyone else in this situation? I almost feel like people didn't like my work enough, which is a real hit if you know what I mean...
How did you cope? Are there bright sides to this?

What I have been reading about this Heartsey, seems like they want you to give your items away! I could do that w/o them! LOL!

Heartsy doesn't interest me either...and I agree...they do seem to want you to give your stuff away. I get emails from them all the time with their 60-70% off deals. For me..no thanks! Perhaps I just don't really understand the benefits of Heartsy. Sorry you are disappointed and feel rejected but I'd look at it as a blessing.

from what I have been hearing... it not worth it... why lower yourself to those standards of giving your work away.. It's not a flea market here! You should be proud of your shop it is beautiful!

I can't afford to do a 50% off sale. Just don't charge enough for my products.

I know a couple of sellers wanted to offer their goods there at 50% off, Heartsy told them they had to offer them at 70% off or more just to be considered.

I think if you post a 50% off sale in all of the threads on Etsy the sales will come regardless. I think it is a joke. Think of it as a big plus you were not accepted!

I agree with everyone above. Not quite sure how they are getting so many shops to list on their site.
