How do I get more sales?

Hi, I was looking over everyone's shops and it seems like you all have more sales than me considering I just have one so far. I was wondering if anyone could look at my site and offer some helpful advice/criticism to make my shop more appealing so that people buy more of my stuff. I get a lot of people favoriting my items but no one is buying them! Please Help!

First, your work is beautiful. Having more listings in your shop will help. The more you have listed the more items shoppers will come across when searching the marketplace. I think your prices are good. Most shops list their items way to cheap.

So, I would suggest working on your photos. Cameras seem to take some of the color out of the items we photograph. I take my photos in natural light (next to my window) with a fairly plan background. Then I import them into Photoshop, brighten them and sometimes even adjust the hue. This will bring back some of the color lost when photographing. Search the web for photo editing sites online if you don't have photoshop or something similar.

I like the photos in your shop with the natural (outside) background. I would do more like those.

I agree with Campfire. More listings means more sales (usually hehe!). And those photos outside are pretty cool. I use Picasa3 by google. And it's totally free and pretty darn easy to use. You can download it in minutes.

It might be good to work on your shipping profiles too. I noticed you only ship to the US. It would help if you shipped worldwide, more potential sales.

You do great work! Just be patient, I'm sure it sales will pick up! :D

I'm not too sure about how to ship worldwide, like what do I charge and all that stuff. Is there a blog about it?

I normally charge about $2.00 worldwide in a 6x9 envelope. This usually covers first class postage (approx. .98 - $1.30), envelope, copy paper (receipt), mini cello bag and colored tissue. If the envelope remains fairly flat, usually customs form can be avoided, it depends on the postal worker. :)

How do you package your items exactly? I've had one sale and I had no clue how to package it for shipping. I think I ended up using a plain manila envelope and printed a receipt. I'd like to make it more personal and memorable.
